    What is an Allied Health Assistant within NDIS?
    At 10/10 Allied Health & Training Support our Allied Health Assistants work alongside both clients and their parents to enhance targeted and innovative services, under the allied health NDIS program, helping with everyday activities and functions that people do as individuals, in families, and within their communities.
    What types of support can be funded under an NDIS plan?

    The kinds of support the NDIS might fund include:

    • Early Childhood support –aged 0 to 9 years of age. Designed to develop the skills children need to take part in daily activities and achieve the best possible outcomes throughout their lives.
    • Supporting Therapist, such as Speech and Occupational Therapist’s Programs, goals and targets
    • Training for vocational perquisite knowledge and skills required for employment
    • Training and up-skilling secondary, tertiary and adults in preparation for further training or education, such as job-specific skills, tafe, etc
    • Requiring knowledge, skills and strategies for everyday functioning, such as, understanding and telling the time, currency in purchasing transactions, change, estimating, budgeting, etc
    • Accessing Transport to enable participation in the community, social activities, work or education
